Owner & Founder of Pineland Aesthetic Medicine
Karla Gochenour
MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
She is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), licensed and Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with over two decades of experience in the medical field. She began her nursing career in home health, where she gained experience teaching and providing care for post-surgical & post-hospitalization patients. After almost ten years in the specialty, she continued her education at Chamberlain University, earning both her Bachelor' & Master' degrees, and is presently pursuing a Doctorate in Nursing. To further develop her skills in aesthetic medicine, Karla trained with best-in-class injectors and leaders in the industry, and with a passion for health and wellness, she specialized in both Medical Weight Loss Management and Testosterone Replacement Therapy. She is a member of the American Board of Aesthetic Medicine, Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners & North Carolina Nurses Association and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is a distinguished member of The American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and the Obesity Medicine Association. She takes pride in continuing her education and regularly attends conferences to stay current on the latest techniques and safety practices.
